The Coalition of Adoptive Families was formed to provide ongoing education and support to adoptive families with the goal of increasing awareness around the challenges experienced by adopted children. As parents and primary caregivers we know it is not unusual to sometimes feel overwhelmed and inadequately prepared to assist our children with the unique challenges of adoption. We also know first hand the frustration and feelings of isolation when trying to find relevant information and experienced professionals to help with parenting challenges.
